Jake Austin is a Portage native and has lived and worked in the Kalamazoo area his entire life. With a creative sense and mathematically-inclined mind, Jake has a passion for designing and building stunning outdoor living spaces. He has worked in the landscape industry since 2008 with extensive knowledge in lawn and landscape maintenance, retaining wall and patio construction, landscape design, drainage plans, lighting, softscapes, and project management.

The absolute best experience for Jake is when a homeowner compares the 3D design renderings and drawings to the actual project when it is finished. He is always striving to perfect the design and implementation process, and there is no better feeling than seeing a homeowner’s face light up when it all comes together.

When he’s not designing or building projects, Jake can be found sipping on coffee, relaxing with a craft beer, or hanging out at home with his wife Sarah and their daughter Lennon.
